Brenda Jorgensen Dietrich is the Arthur and Helen Geoffrion Professor of Practice in the School of Operations Research at Cornell University, a position she has held since 2017. She also serves as a Council Member at the National Academy of Engineering since 2020. She earned her Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in 1986, after completing a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina in 1980.
