Biography

Brad Raffensperger is an American politician and businessman, currently serving as the Secretary of State of Georgia since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he was reelected to the position in 2022. Raffensperger previously held office in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 50 from 2015, and on the Johns Creek City Council from 2012 to 2014. In September 2025, he announced his candidacy for Governor of Georgia in the 2026 election.
