Biography

Robert Sternfels is an American businessman who serves as the Global Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company, a role he assumed in July 2021. He joined McKinsey in 1994 after graduating from Oxford University.

Throughout his career at McKinsey, Sternfels has held several leadership positions. Prior to his election as managing partner in 2021, he led the firm's advanced analytics practice. He also previously led McKinsey's operations practice in the US and its private equity practice globally.
