Robert Hines serves as the CEO of Tether U.S., the American arm of the cryptocurrency stablecoin company, a position he has held since September 2025.
Prior to this, he was the Executive Director of the President's Council of Advisers on Digital Assets in Donald Trump's second administration from January to August 2025. Hines also co-founded the investment firm Nxum Capital.
