Tarun Khanna is an Indian-born American academic, author, and economic strategist. He currently serves as the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor at Harvard Business School, a position he has held since 2004, and as the Director of The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University since 2010. Khanna joined the Harvard Business School faculty in 1993.
His academic work and research focus on multinational and indigenous companies and investors in emerging markets worldwide.
