Bill Gurley is a General Partner at Benchmark, a role he has held for over 20 years. He is the author of the new book 'Runnin' Down a Dream' and for the past fifteen years, he has authored the 'Above the Crowd' blog, which focuses on the evolution and economics of high technology businesses.
Prior to joining Benchmark, Gurley was a partner with Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. He also spent four years on Wall Street as a top-ranked research analyst, including three years at CS First Boston.
