Bilal A. Wahab is the President of the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. His professional focus centers on governance, development, and energy issues specifically within Iraq and Kurdistan.

Wahab's career history includes serving as a Wagner Fellow at The Washington Institute For Near East Policy and working in the Institutional Integrity Vice Presidency at the World Bank Group. He also held a role as a Public Participation Advisor at Rti International. He earned a PhD in Public Policy.
