Beth Alison Shapiro, born January 14, 1976, is an American evolutionary molecular biologist. She currently holds the position of Chief Science Officer at Colossal Biosciences.

Shapiro's expertise includes her role as an associate director for conservation genomics at the UC Santa. Her career also includes work with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
