Biography

Beong-Soo Kim is an American lawyer currently serving as the interim president of the University of Southern California (USC) since July 2025. Prior to this appointment, he was the senior vice president and general counsel of USC from July 2020 to June 2025. In his role as general counsel, he was responsible for leading major strategic initiatives and advising the senior leadership team and Board of Trustees on critical matters affecting the University, Keck Medicine, and athletics programs.
