Biography

Ben Manski serves as an Assistant Professor of Public Sociology at George Mason University, where he also directs Next System Studies. His academic work centers on how ordinary people participate in the deliberate constitution of their societies. His research spans social movements, law, politics, climate and ecology, political economy, and corporate structures, with a particular emphasis on democracy, democratization, and constitutionalism. He has published widely on these subjects.
