Benjamin Manning is a 5th-year PhD candidate in the Information Technology group at MIT Sloan. His research explores how to make AI systems credibly represent people and what becomes possible when they do. He investigates these questions through two main lines of work.
First, Manning develops methods to transform AI simulations into robust and useful proxies for human subjects.
