Benedetto Vigna is an Italian physicist and businessman currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ferrari. Born in Potenza, Basilicata, he graduated with honors as a physicist from the University of Pisa in 1993. His early experiences included work at CERN in Geneva, the ESFR in Grenoble, and the Max Planck Institute in Munich.
Vigna began his career at STMicroelectronics in 1995, where he initiated the company's focus on microelectromechanical systems (MEMS).
