Brian Erickson serves as the first U.S. Coast Guard Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer. He previously held the role of Deputy Director for the DHS Presidential Transition Office.

Erickson is a retired senior military officer, having dedicated 30 years to service with the U.S. Coast Guard. His extensive experience encompasses leadership, management, operations, engineering, data, AI, and acquisitions. He is also an MIT Sloan Fellow, an Aerospace Engineer, and a Naval Aviator.
