Barbara Ann Mellers is the I. George Heyman University Professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she holds positions at Wharton and the Department of Psychology. Her research primarily investigates decision processes, conducting both laboratory and field experimental work to examine human decision-making and its implications for politics and public policy.
In 2017, Mellers received the Thomas C. Schelling Award from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
