Bálint Mikola is a political scientist and communications expert currently serving as a Researcher at the CEU Democracy Institute. His research focuses on neo-authoritarianisms, political parties, democratic accountability, and governance, contributing to projects such as the 'Neo-authoritarianisms in Europe and the liberal democratic response' (AUTHLIB) Horizon Europe project, the Political Party Database (PPDB), and the 'Democratic Accountability and Linkages Project' (DALP).
