Azadeh Shahshahani is an American human rights attorney and the Legal & Advocacy Director for Project South, a position she has held since 2016. Based in Atlanta, she has dedicated two decades to protecting the human rights of immigrant, Black, and Muslim communities in the U.S. South.
Prior to her role at Project South, Shahshahani served as President of the National Lawyers Guild from 2012 to 2015.
