Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, writer, and teacher focused on creating a positive climate future. She is the co-founder of Urban Ocean Lab, a think tank dedicated to ocean-climate policy in coastal cities, which she has led since 2018. Additionally, she serves as the Roux Distinguished Scholar at Bowdoin College since 2023.
Johnson is the author of 'What If We Get It Right? Visions of Climate Futures' (2024), a New York Times bestseller.
