Avik Roy is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity (FREOPP), a non-partisan, non-profit think tank based in Austin, Texas. FREOPP focuses on improving the lives of Americans on the bottom half of the economic ladder through freedom, innovation, and pluralism. Roy also serves as a Board Member at Strive, a bitcoin treasury company and ETF issuer, a position he has held since 2025.
