Austan Goolsbee is the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, a position he has held since 2023. He also serves as the Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Previously, Goolsbee held significant public service roles, including Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers from 2010 to 2011, making him a member of President Barack Obama's cabinet.
