Atoosa Kasirzadeh is an AI researcher and philosopher. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where she is on leave, and as a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. Her research primarily focuses on the societal implications of Artificial Intelligence.

Previously, Kasirzadeh was the Director of Research at the Centre for Technomoral Futures at the University of Edinburgh and a Group Research Lead at the Alan Turing Institute.
