Katherine J. (Katie) Mack is a theoretical cosmologist and science communicator. She currently holds the Hawking Chair in Cosmology and Science Communication at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, a position she has held since 2022. Additionally, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Physics at North Carolina State University, a role she began in 2018.
Prior to her current academic appointments, Mack conducted postdoctoral research.
