Ashok Varadhan is an American investor who serves as the co-head of global banking and markets at Goldman Sachs. Prior to his current role, he was the co-head of global markets, which is the firm's securities division, from 2014 to 2018. He also briefly held the position of sole head of the securities division in 2018 during a leadership reshuffle.

Varadhan began his career at Merrill Lynch on their swaps trading desk after graduating from Duke University.
