Ashley Armstrong is the Chief UK Business Correspondent at the Financial Times, a position she has held since 2025.

Prior to her current role, Armstrong served as Business Editor at The Sun for three years, from July 2022 to June 2025. Her career also includes a tenure at Telegraph Media Group, where she was Retail Editor from December 2016 to June 2019, and earlier, a Retail Correspondent from July 2015 to 2016. She also worked at The Times for three years.
