Aruna Dissanayake is a seasoned marine professional and Yacht Captain, currently serving Al Fardan Group in Qatar, where he operates a 40-meter yacht. His career in the marine industry is built upon a foundation of military service, having worked in the Sri Lanka Navy Special Force from 1994 to 1999.

Following his naval service, Dissanayake transitioned into commercial marine operations.
