Biography

Alberto R. Gonzales is an American lawyer and former government official. He served as the 80th United States Attorney General from 2005 to 2007.

Prior to this, he held significant roles including Counsel to the President in the White House and Justice on the Supreme Court of Texas. His public service experience also includes extensive interaction with media and congressional committees, where he testified on budget, compliance, and oversight matters.
