Biography

Antony Blinken is an American lawyer and diplomat, notably serving as the 71st United States Secretary of State from 2021 to 2025 under President Joe Biden. Prior to this, he held significant roles in the Obama administration, including Deputy National Security Advisor from 2013 to 2015 and Deputy Secretary of State from 2015 to 2017. After leaving government service, Blinken co-founded WestExec Advisors, a consulting firm, before returning to advise Biden's 2020 presidential campaign.
