Anton La Guardia is an Italian journalist and the Diplomatic Editor at The Economist. In this role, he covers global political and economic developments. Prior to joining The Economist, he served as the Diplomatic Editor for The Daily Telegraph.
La Guardia is also an accomplished author. He co-authored 'Unhappy Union: how the euro crisis can be fixed and Europe saved' (2014) with John Peet, a book that examines the European economic crisis.
