Annie Griffiths is an American photojournalist and author, recognized for her extensive work with National Geographic. Hired in 1978, she was one of the first women photographers for the magazine, capturing images that have also appeared in publications such as LIFE, Geo, Smithsonian, Time, and Stern. Her career has taken her worldwide, often with her children, an experience she chronicled in her 2008 photo memoir, "A Camera, Two Kids and a Camel.
