Anne Melissa Milgram is an American attorney who served as the 11th Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from 2021 to 2025. Prior to this federal role, she was the 57th Attorney General of New Jersey from 2007 to 2010. Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Milgram grew up in East Brunswick and is an alumna of Rutgers University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1992, and New York University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 1996.
