Anna Escobedo Cabral is an American politician who served as the 42nd Treasurer of the United States from January 19, 2005, to January 20, 2009. During her tenure, she became the highest-ranking Latina in the George W. Bush administration following the resignation of Rosario Marin.
After her service as Treasurer, Cabral joined the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in 2009, where she served as Unit Chief for Strategic Communications in the External Relations Division until 2018.
