Dr. Anna Machin is an evolutionary anthropologist at the Department of Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, where she has conducted pioneering research into the science and anthropology of close human relationships, including fatherhood, for over 17 years. She is the author of two books, 'The Life of Dad: The Making of the Modern Father' (2018) and 'Why We Love: The Definitive Guide to Our Most Fundamental Need' (2023).
