Anna Foka is a Professor in digital humanities within the Department of ALM (Archival, Library and Information Science Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies) at Uppsala University. She is the founder and former Director of the Centre for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences at the university.
Her research and teaching concentrate on the applications of Information Technology, including knowledge organisation, Linked Open Data, and AI, for the arts and humanities.
