Angeli Achrekar is the Assistant Secretary General and Deputy Executive Director at UNAIDS. She is a global public servant with over 20 years of extensive experience in public health, development, and foreign affairs, gained within the U.S. government and the United Nations.

Her career has focused on leading, managing, designing, and implementing large-scale, multi-sectoral, domestic and global health and development programs.
