Andrew Charles Palmer is an English automotive executive and engineer, widely described as the 'Godfather of EVs' for his pivotal role in launching the Nissan Leaf in 2010 during his tenure as COO at the Japanese company. He served as CEO of Aston Martin from 2014 to 2020, where he oversaw the launch of the company's first SUV, the DBX, and its first mid-engined sports car, Valkyrie.
