Biography

Andrew Charles Harter CBE DL is a British computer scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur. He is widely recognized for his work on Virtual Network Computing (VNC) software, a remote access technology that allows control of one computer screen from another. This technology is deployed on over a billion devices, functions across more computer types than any other application, and is an official part of the internet (RFC 6143).
