Biography

Andy Rothman is the Founder and CEO of Sinology LLC, a role he has held since 2025. Concurrently, he serves as a Senior China Fellow at the Asia Society of Northern California & Seattle, also since 2025.

Prior to his current positions, Rothman was the China Investment Strategist at Matthews International Capital Management from 2014 to January 2025. Before that, he worked as a China Macro Strategist at CLSA for 14 years, from 2000 to 2014.
