Biography

Andre Dickens is the 61st Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia, having won the 2021 election. Prior to his mayoral term, he served on the Atlanta City Council from 2013 to 2021, where he chaired the Public Safety and Legal Administration Committee. During his time on the city council, Dickens advocated for improvements in public safety, affordable housing, and educational opportunities for students in Atlanta's Public School system.
