André Borschberg is a Swiss businessman, pilot, and entrepreneur recognized for his pioneering work in solar-powered flight. He co-founded Solar Impulse in 2003, where he also served as CEO and pilot. With his team of engineers, Borschberg conceived a solar airplane designed for unlimited endurance. Alternating with Bertrand Piccard in the cockpit, he successfully completed the first circumnavigation of the globe without using any fuel.
