Biography

Andreas Schaal serves as the Director of Global Relations and Co-operation at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In this capacity, he is also the OECD Sherpa to the G7, the G20, and APEC. From September 2024 to January 2025, he held the position of Acting Special Representative of the OECD to the United Nations in New York and was a Panel Member of the UN Secretary-General's Panel on Critical Minerals.
