Amy E. Lerman is the Executive Director of UC's Possibility Lab and holds the Michelle Schwartz Chair and Professor of Public Policy and Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a political scientist specializing in public opinion, race, and political behavior.

Her research focuses on issues of equity, public opinion, and political behavior, especially as they relate to public safety and social inequality in America.
