Amit Sheth is the NCR Chair and a Professor at the University of South Carolina, where he also served as the Founding Director of the AI Institute until October 2024. As an educator, researcher, and entrepreneur, his work focuses on a vision of Computing for Human Experience, incorporating advanced AI techniques such as neurosymbolic and knowledge-infused learning, semantic-cognitive-perceptual computing, and intelligent, robust, and trustworthy AI.
