Biography

Amitabh Kant is a distinguished retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, currently serving as India's G20 Sherpa to Prime Minister Narendra Modi since July 2022. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India), the Government of India’s premier policy think tank, from January 2016 to July 2022.
