Amaka Anku leads Eurasia Group’s Africa practice, where she provides clients with insights into the complex interactions of politics, policy, and markets throughout the African continent. Her research specifically focuses on Nigerian politics, broader African regional trends, and comparative global politics.

Beyond her role at Eurasia Group, Amaka is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
