Daniel Altman is an economist, author, and entrepreneur. He currently publishes the free weekly "High Yield Economics" newsletter. Since 2018, he has also served as Co-founder at NYK Capital Management LLC, an investment manager specializing in private equity for sports, which achieved a 100% return on a soccer club investment over two years.
Altman was the first Chief Economist at Instawork, a Y Combinator-backed company, from January 2022 to June 2024.
