Allison Josephs is the Founder and Executive Director of Jew in the City, an organization she established in 2007. In this role, she leads initiatives focused on promoting a positive understanding of Orthodox Jews and addressing misconceptions.

Josephs also oversees the Jewish Institute for Television & Cinema (JITC) Hollywood Bureau, which she launched in 2021. The Bureau's mission is to champion authentic and nuanced portrayals of Jews, Judaism, and Israel within the entertainment industry.
