Ali Ghodsi is a Swedish-American computer scientist and entrepreneur, known for his work in distributed systems and big data. He is the CEO and co-founder of Databricks, a company that commercializes Apache Spark. Ghodsi also serves as an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley, where his research interests include distributed systems, cloud computing, big data computing, and networking.
Ghodsi received his PhD in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden in 2006.
