Alia J. Crum is an American psychologist and an Associate Professor of Psychology at Stanford University, where she serves as the Principal Investigator of the Stanford Mind & Body Lab. She earned her B.
A. from Harvard University in 2005 and her Ph.D.
from Yale University in 2012. Her undergraduate thesis, supervised by Ellen J. Langer, explored the mind-body connection between exercise and health, while her Ph.
D.
