Alfred Zalmon Spector, born October 14, 1954, is an American computer scientist and research manager. He currently holds the position of Professor of Practice in the MIT EECS Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Spector's career includes significant leadership roles in the technology sector. He served as Vice President, Research and Special Initiatives at Google and as Vice President, Strategy & Technology (CTO) at IBM. Additionally, he held a role at Two Sigma.
