Dr. Alexandra de Hoop Scheffer serves as the president of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). In this role, she leads geostrategy and geoeconomics policy initiatives across Europe, the United States, and the Indo-Pacific.

With over two decades of experience in international relations, policy research, and public engagement, Dr. de Hoop Scheffer is recognized for her expertise in geopolitics, transatlantic relations, and global security.
