Alexander Chartres serves as a Fund Manager at Ruffer LLP. In this role, he is involved in co-managing several of Ruffer's flagship funds.

Chartres is also an integral part of the asset allocation team at Ruffer. His expertise extends to being a geopolitical specialist and a financial historian. Additionally, he is responsible for leading Ruffer's Horizons thematic research programme.
